Community Outreach

We connect with hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and local organizations to raise stroke awareness, promote prevention, and strengthen support networks. Our outreach programs bring education and encouragement to the communities most affected by stroke.

How We Create Change

Caregiver Support and Education

We empower caregivers with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to provide effective care after a stroke. A Stroke of Love helps families understand recovery, medication safety, mobility support, nutrition, and communication strategies that make care at home safer and less stressful.

Our programs also support the emotional side of caregiving, offering guidance on stress management, self-care, peer connection, and respite resources.

The Impact Fund

The Stroke of Love (ASOL) Impact Fund provides direct relief to stroke survivors and caregivers in need. Your donations help cover essential needs like adaptive equipment, respite care, home modifications, transportation support, and more.

Every dollar helps bridge the gap between what insurance covers and what families truly need to live with dignity and independence. You can also give through a Donor Advised Fund (DAF).

Charlotte’s House

A Care Haven For Stroke Survivors

A person wearing blue medical gloves and a navy blue medical jacket holds a small model of a house with red shutters.

Charlotte’s House is a first-of-its-kind concept in Georgia created through initiatives led by A Stroke of Love. Designed for stroke and brain injury survivors, it will offer a warm, residential setting where care feels personal and home-like.

Care will center on stroke-informed and brain-injury-informed practices. Each resident’s plan will reflect their individual recovery needs, nutrition goals, and daily comfort, all delivered with compassion and respect.

Once established, Charlotte’s House will serve as a model for future homes across Georgia, showing that small-scale, specialized care can lead to better outcomes and greater peace of mind for families.

Through collaboration with healthcare professionals, funders, and community partners, ASOL is laying the foundation for a network of Care Havens where survivors can live safely, recover fully, and thrive.
